The water of the cave remains naturally cold throughout the year, so during the summer months when Dehradun swelters, this cold and cool cave can be your solace while making it all the more popular for picnics and an excursion for photographers and trekkers alike. Changing room, seating area, food stalls are easily available at Robber's Cave. But remember to carry a change of clothes and water-proof shoes while visiting this attraction. Best to visit between October to June, when water level in the cave remains normal. During monsoons water level gets extremely high and it's not advisable to visit the cave.
