In this magnificent forest reserve you can spot large populations of species such as the Bengal Tiger, the Indian Elephant and the Indian leopard, Indian wild dog, Gaur, several species ofdeer and more than 260 different species of birds such as the Crested Serpent Eagle and Malabar Grey Hornbill. The Mudumalai National Park gives you opportunities to watch wild life in action either on a guided safari or a jeep safari ride into the dense greenery. Spotting the elephant and other Gaur herds can be the icing on the cake.
