Dayara Bugyal, found in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, is the most beautiful alpine meadow in India. A cab or a bus can be taken from there to Barsu or Raithal, the trek starting points.By Railway Station: Rishikesh is the railway station which is the closest and is about 200 km from the destination. You can take a bus or a taxi from Rishikesh to Uttarkashi and from there to the base villages.By Road: Dayara Bugyal can be reached by car till Barsu (32 km from Uttarkashi) or Raithal (38 km from Uttarkashi). A trek of 6–8 km from any one of these villages is the way to go to the Bugyal.
