Tucked amidst coffee plantations, lush greenery, andspice estates, the water here cascades down a drop of nearly 70 feet into a rocky pool beneath. The waterfall appears most impressive and spectacular during the monsoons and soon after it, when it pours down the cliff creating a mist around with its cool spray. The abundance of lush greenery surrounding the fall gives an inviting ambiance. While one can view and photograph the falls from the hanging bridge just opposite to it, the access to the pool itself is not allowed due to security reasons. With a pleasant climate in Coorg throughout the year, it can be a visit in the early hours of the morning or during late evenings. Keep a look out for many birds and butterflies flitting around the fall and do take a walk through the many coffee plantations located in its proximity to have the feel of coffee country that Coorg is known for. Parking space and facilities for snacks are available at the entrance.
