Slowly and gradually, it transformed into a beautifully carved lake with stunning Gardens, Royal Palaces, and orchard fruits at its circumference. The intricately built red-stone Balsamand Palace is located in the vicinity of the lake. At its extremities are lush Green Gardens with various varieties of colourful blossoms, a mango orchard, a big expanse of green grass patches and spacious fields, which is a sanctuary of different kinds of wildlife, including peafowls, deer, various bird species and other avian species. Due to its tranquil ambience, Balsamand Lake is the best possible place to go on a picnic.
