A prominent landmark here is Tiger-Faced Rock; this natural rock formation along the trekking route that resembles a tiger's face is one of its main draws. Starting from Kurangini Village, this trek presents moderate challenges. At first, it may appear steep, but once past the initial hill, it eases off into a gradual climb. Along its course are tea estates that allow an up-close look at all stages involved in processing raw tea leaves into ready-to-sell products. Trekking through Munnar's breathtaking landscapes is an excellent way to relax and take in its magnificent landscapes. Trails are well-marked, though an experienced guide may be necessary to navigate safely across their terrain. While the trek itself should not be challenging, sturdy footwear and enough water should always be carried - those not comfortable with hiking may prefer taking advantage of a jeep safari instead of trekking. Kolukkumalai offers many scenic viewpoints, but the Neela Kurinji View Point stands out among them all. Situated within a valley filled with flowering plants that only bloom once every 12 years (next bloom is expected by 2030), you may also spot wild animals such as deer or exotic birds at this site.
