Nijagal Betta is an unknown but beautiful hillock in the Indian state of Karnataka, near Tumkur. Exercising and stretching activities a few days before the trek may be helpful. For a night trek, ensure you are well-equipped with adequate torches and batteries, which will be very useful. HOW TO REACH:Nijagal Betta is well connected to Bangalore, Tumkur, and nearby towns and is an easily accessible destination. Nearest Railway Station is Tumkur Junction. KSRTC Buses from Kempegowda Bus Station, Bangalore, to Tumkur and other cities in and around Nijagal Betta. Nearest Airport: Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore. After reaching the railway station, airport , and bus stand, though buses and trains are still accessible, they do not get to the hill most of the time. It is , therefore, best to take a local taxi or auto rickshaw from Tumkur or Devarayanadurga to the foot of Nijagal Betta.
