The Netravathi Trek is a popular trekking route located in the Western Ghats of India. It follows the course of the Netravathi River, which originates in the Western Ghats and flows through the state of Karnataka.

The trek starts from Ballalarayana Durga, a hill fort located in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka. The fort offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. From there, trekkers follow the course of the Netravathi River, passing through dense forests, lush green landscapes, and picturesque villages.

It is considered a moderate-level trek, suitable for both experienced trekkers and beginners with a good level of fitness.

During the trek, trekkers can enjoy the natural beauty of the Western Ghats, spot various species of flora and fauna, and experience the local culture of the region. Camping is a popular option for overnight stays during the trek.
