The Andharban Jungle Trek is an unforgettable monsoon trek that blends adventure with natural tranquillity. Hikers walk through an entrancing forest that feels straight out of a fantasy novel, complete with sounds of birds chirping and waterfalls trickling down to create an euphoric ambience. Additionally, hikers enjoy stunning natural landscapes, including Kundalika valley views with mesmerising streams and majestic waterfalls, as well as traversing through ridges that provide spectacular vantage points over Bhira Dam and Tamhini Ghat mountain ranges, making for an unforgettable monsoon adventure that won't soon forget! This trail features a moderate difficulty rating that makes it suitable for experienced trekkers as well as beginner hikers with some prior hiking experience. A typical trek on this route takes place over one full day from early morning until late afternoon or early evening and should include rest breaks when necessary; also expect challenging ascents/descents, rocky patches and thick foliage! Trail continues east towards a stream crossing which may become difficult during monsoon seasons due to flooding from flowing water. There are cable wires installed here for safe crossing and the path continues climbing to reach a ridge that overlooks the valley below. The ridge provides stunning panoramic views of the entire region, from dense forests and cascading waterfalls to picturesque mountains and lakes. Hikers will end their trek at a cave for resting and taking in its breathtaking vistas of nearby mountains and lakes.
