This ₹599 rafting package puts you in an inflatable raft with a small group and a trained guide, and takes you through the rapids that made Dandeli one of Karnataka’s best-known rafting spots. Before you get on the water, the guide gives a short safety briefing and shows you how to paddle in time with the group. You wear a life jacket and helmet for the whole run. The river moves between fast rapids and calmer stretches, so you get time to paddle hard and time to look at the forest on both banks. When the guide says conditions are safe, some groups also get a chance to swim in a calm section. The trip suits first-timers, friends, families with older kids and office groups. You do not need any rafting experience. Wear quick-drying clothes, carry a spare set, and bring a waterproof pouch for your phone. Water levels change with the season, so the length and strength of the run can vary.
