India has the most incredible adventure travel destinations which offer excellent opportunities for adventure tourism. Giving you a chance to indulge in hair raising and daring adventure sports, India has many adventure destinations that can easily attract many adventure enthusiasts. It is situated in the northern part of West Bengal at a height of around 6900ft. The Museum of natural history is another tourist attraction in Darjeeling, has a fine collection of Himalayan animals, reptiles, birds and insects. Darjeeling fondly called as “Queen of Hills”. During mid-March to May the skies are dry, panoramas are clear and temperatures are pleasant. This is considered as high season and one can surely enjoy a trip to Darjeeling that includes some famous trekking trails around the place.
The pasture of flowers is situated in the great Himalayas, which present an excellent option for long walks. The beauty of the Kashmir valley will definitely not fail to mesmerize you. It is an all-weather destination with refreshing summer meadows and pastoral scenes to keep your camera busy. The main reason you must visit at least in winter is the off-piste, deep-powder, long-run skiing and snowboarding.

3. Jim Corbett National Park
Situated in the foothills of Himalayas, Jim Corbett National Park is the place for adventure activities like jungle safaris, wildlife and jungle camps, etc. It is one of the India’s most beautiful wildlife areas which have a tiger population around 160.
Corbett Park’s 1318.54 square kilometers of virgin forest and jungle are home to numerous other species of fauna. The rich biodiversity of the park is a perfect place for bird enthusiasts; the area is considered as one of the best birdwatching areas in India, with some 600 species having been sighted in the park.
It is an ancient town located near the end of Kullu valley on the national highway leading to Leh which draws a huge number of tourists due to the number of temples, monasteries, passes, waterfalls and landscapes. It is also a perfect place for the adventure activities like skiing, hiking and trekking. The major tourist attractions are Hidimba Devi Temple, Vasishta Springs, Rohtang Pass, etc. The best time to visit Manali is between May to November.
Situated in the Dehradun District of Uttarakhand state in India, Rishikesh is situated at 409 meters above sea level in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan Range and surrounded by Shivalik range. It is also known as gateway to ”Char Dham”. Char Dham is four popular holy temples on the hills (Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri).
The major attractions here are Triveni Ghat, Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Parmarth Nikethaneelkant Mahadev Temple, Bharath Mandir, Geetha Bhawan, Beatles Ashram, Sivananda Ashram and many more.
Adventure destination of Rishikesh is situated in the northern part of the state of Uttaranchal. The rapids and rivers of Rishikesh are excellent spots for the adventure lovers. Rishikesh also acts as a base for trekking camps.
