Rappelling, abseiling unlike here however it still means a controlled descent down a rock face using a rope. This technique helps you stop wondering how you going to come down after climbing up a high mountain and just with a rope around your waist, descenders and some guts, one can climb down safely. Without complete knowledge of the technique, it may prove dangerous. For beginners in mountaineering, this activity proves very helpful as the participant descends down from a steep slope on a height; he/she overcomes the fear of heights or simply the fear of falling down.
